The Model 6529 is a low-cost 1000 V hand-held instrument that combines multimeter functions with True Megohmmeter® functions. Designed for commercial, industrial and contractor markets, it is compliant with IEC 61010, lightweight, compact, rugged and easy to handle even when wearing gloves. An intuitive blue/red backlit pass/fail indication makes defective conditions easy to identify. It includes automatic test inhibit if connected to a live circuit and automatic discharge at the completion of the test, DAR and PI ratio tests, and AEMC's unique DMR relative-measurement function. Multimeter functions include AC/DC voltage, resistance and continuity.
