Contractor Essentials is owned and operated by Macservice Pty Ltd (ABN 43 064 478 842), trading as TMG Test Equipment.   Our sales office and warehouse is operated out of Clayton South, VIC, Australia and we have staff working remotely in New South Wales and Queensland.   All goods available and shipped out from our Clayton South Warehouse in Melbourne, Victoria.

Delivery Methods & Shipping Costs

We use primarily Australia Post Parcel Post (eParcel), Fastway and Toll Priority freight services.

After receiving our order we will contact you to determine whether your delivery address is attended or unattended, and provide you with an estimate lead time for your to receive your order.

Due to an increase in freight loss by our customers by theft, ALL consignments sent require Signature on Delivery.

Orders less than $500 (ex GST) will incur a flat rate $20 (ex GST) shipping fee (unless your order contains Bulky Freight Items).

Need an order Urgently or Overnight? No worries!

If you need your order urgently, you can opt to have it sent overnight to you for an additional charge. Upon receiving your order, one of our team members will discuss the Prioirity/Overnight freight costs and services for your consideration.

Bulky/Heavy Freight Surcharge

To keep our product prices and margins as low as we can, for bulky and heavy items a surcharge may apply calculated per product and quantity

Remote Area Deliveries - "Freight Quote Required"

For all orders for dispatch to WA (except Perth Suburbs & Surrounds), Non-Metro NSW Areas, West and Northern Queensland, and Northern Territory areas we need to manually calculate the freight cost to deliver to your address. We have many cost-effective freight methods Australia-wide, however given the diverse cubic and dead weight of the items we supply it is difficult to provide an accurate costing - especially whereby you need the goods urgently overnight


Tracking your shipment

When we ship your order you will be provided tracking information and tracking links to the couriers websites via email and/or SMS.


Collect from our Sales Office/Warehouse

If all items are in stock, depending on the size of your order, please allow up to 2 business hours to finalising picking your order.
In many cases your order can be finalised and made ready for collection on the spot or with a delay of 15 to 20 minutes, dependent on our business and staff levels at the time.

Our warehouse is open from 8am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday.

Delivery Acceptance

All orders for delivery require a signature upon delivery.  If there's no one at home to sign for the parcel, or a ‘to the door’ service is not available in your area, a card will be left with instructions on how to either collect from the nearest Australia Post office, Courier Agent (ie Fastway uses freight collection points such as News agents) or Toll Depot.     Please note,  should you request Toll Prioirity to attempt redelivery, an additional charge of $30 (ex GST) may apply.

Once your consignment has been signed for will be responsible for any damage to or loss of your items. 



Out of stock items

Occasionally if a particular product is in high demand we may need to re-order the product from our suppliers and there will be a delay.

If items are out of stock, we will contact to advise you of the delay, and provide you with a choice to cancel or amend your order or place the item required on backorder.   We attempt to minimise any delays in all instances and pride ourselves on our superior customer service offered.

PLEASE NOTE: You will not be charged extra for multiple/split deliveries with any Backorder instances.


International Delivery

We are unable to ship internationally on most of our products due to our supplier agreements, and we have exclusive Australia special pricing on some select items.
